When Iam8bit invited me to take part in the Nickelodeon ‘It’s the shizNICK!’ art show, there was only really one thing on my mind. Inspired by Ren’s rage and Sven and Stimpy’s idiocy!It’s a 2 colour screen print on black stock. Edition of 50. The show opens 19 April, from 7PM at iam8bit gallery at 2147 W. Interesting short video for illustrators, profiling Yuko Shimisu, Sean Murphy, and Molly Crabapple. I like what Yuko Shimisu says about getting into the mindset of being a fan of the subject matter that you are tackling. Knowing what makes people passionate about something and being able to represent that visually is really important in illustration.
