Sky Rockets in Flight
Here’s a look at what I did for SPACE! A Gallery Show at Gallery 1988, opening 21st June, organised and curated by my bud Mike Mitchell.
Look closely! It’s an isometric pixel drawing of iconic space rockets and their occupants. I was careful to do it to scale to give you an impression of how big each one would have been. I love space!

I made this Toy Story comic earlier and I wanted to optimise it for Tumblr, which of course means making it into an animated gif.
Ren and Stimpy was one of my favourite shows as a kid. When Iam8bit invited me to take part in the Nickelodeon ‘It’s the shizNICK!’ art show, there was only really one thing on my mind. Inspired by Ren’s rage and Sven and Stimpy’s idiocy!
It’s a 2 colour screen print on black stock. Edition of 50. The show opens 19 April, from 7PM at iam8bit gallery at 2147 W. Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90026. Check it out if you’re in LA area!

The Art of Illustration
Interesting short video for illustrators, profiling Yuko Shimisu, Sean Murphy, and Molly Crabapple. I like what Yuko Shimisu says about getting into the mindset of being a fan of the subject matter that you are tackling. Knowing what makes people passionate about something and being able to represent that visually is really important in illustration.
